VMx had an exciting weekend in Concord, NC where we participated in the Region 14 Competition, performing on stage for evaluation. Why "for evaluation only (you might be asking)?. The intent was to receive some critical feedback from a phenominal panel of experts in sound, music, expression and visual communication; this panel was also judging the regional chorus and quartet competitions that were taking place Friday and Saturday.
This valuable feedback will provide a springboard for some intensive - but always enjoyable - rehearsals over the next few months as we prepare for "Internationals". In October VMx will compete along with top choruses from around the world during the Sweet Adelines International Convention in Columbus Ohio.
