We are so so proud of our director, the fabulous Nancy Field!! Truly a well-deserved honor. We are so lucky to have her teach us and lead us every week!
Last Saturday, International President Paula Davis and the International Board of Directors were delighted to surprise our newest Lifetime Achievement Award winner with an unexpected phone call. Nancy Field (Vocal Matrix Chorus, Heart of the Blue Ridge, Region #14) was busily directing her chorus at a chorus retreat when she received the call: It is with deep appreciation and admiration that Nancy has been honored as recipient of the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award!
Nancy has been a member of Sweet Adlines for more than fifty years, serves as a Certified Expression Judge, has served on the IBOD, two RMTs and in many other capacities. She is now serving as the Regional Education Director for Region #14 and has served on task forces developing and implementing our new Regional Governance Pilot Program. She directs the Vocal Matrix Chorus in Greenville, South Carolina, who is delighted to be preparing to compete in the 2018 International Competition in St. Louis, Missouri.
We’ll be officially celebrating Nancy's lifetime of achievements this October at the 2017 International Convention & Competition in Las Vegas.
