Vocal Matrix Chorus
Vocal Matrix is a chorus of more than 40 women bringing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style, to Upstate South Carolina. Since 2005, we have shared our love of singing through community appearances, seasonal shows, competitions and performances for audiences of all ages.
We are committed to musical excellence, meaningful connection and the joy of singing together. Vocal Matrix is proud to be a chapter of SingUnited International, an organization that inspires, empowers and connects thousands of women around the world through song.
Education
Vocal Matrix is committed to continual musical growth. Our members receive ongoing education in vocal production, performance, musicianship and the art of four-part a cappella harmony.
Rehearsals combine focused musical instruction with the energy and camaraderie of singing together. We also learn from guest coaches and educators who challenge us to strengthen both our individual skills and our ensemble sound.
Whether a singer joins us with years of experience or is discovering barbershop harmony for the first time, there is always an opportunity to learn, grow and become a more confident performer.
Sharing Our Harmony
Music is meant to be shared. Vocal Matrix performs throughout the Upstate at community celebrations, arts events, private gatherings and special occasions.
Every performance gives us another opportunity to connect with our community and introduce audiences to the excitement and artistry of a cappella harmony.
For us, sharing our harmony is about more than performing. It is about creating moments of joy, building relationships and celebrating the power of voices coming together.

Dr. Kimberly Graham
Vocal Matrix is led by Music & Artistic Director Dr. Kimberly Graham, whose musicianship, leadership and commitment to education inspire our singers to continually grow as musicians and performers.
Kimberly brings energy, creativity and a passion for a cappella harmony to every rehearsal and performance, helping Vocal Matrix pursue musical excellence while preserving the joy and connection at the heart of our chorus.
